Ingredients:
- 4 medium-large apples (pink lady or granny smith)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- pie crust
Preparation:
Quarter and core the apples, then dice the quarters into slices (medium thickness). Put diced apples in a bowl and toss with dry ingredients. Preheat oven to 450. Prepare pie crust and place bottom layer in 9-inch pie pan. Add filling to pie crust, add top crust and puncture holes with fork. Bake for 15 minutes at 450, then lower to 350 and continue for 35-45 minutes.
